My Review:

I first saw this product on ChicPrincessa while I was looking for a moisturizer to be used on daily basis under my BB cream. And even though my skin is a combination type, but it gets generally oily and greasy during the hot and humid weather so I decided that I want to go for a product that is oil-free, light-wearing, gives a matte effect, and yet can deliver enough moisturizing effect to my skin.

( More plus point, this product was also said to have a blemish healing and preventing effect. Definitely to go with my acne-prone skin. And the price is somehow reasonably cheap).

When applied, the jelly consistency turns watery and sunk immediately into my skin, leaving a refreshed feeling and a super matte finish.

The few first time I wore this product, my face stayed oil-free for like 3-4 hours but lately it gets oily just within 2 hours or less ( I really don't understand why, but I blamed it all on the weather. It was insanely hot and humid these past few months *argh).

After around 3 months I'm using this product, I never breakout from it. Though I also must say that I don't experience the blemish healing-preventing effect from this product

My Review:

I bought this product mainly because my NYX's Eyebrow Cake Powder crushed when I brought it out in my cosmetic purse. I was thinking about buying a new NYX's but then, I thought it'd be best to buy an efficient product that isn't as fragile as my NYX's so I can bring it on my purse without being afraid that it would get crushed again.

So I ended up with this product. And it's not a regret.

In a single sentence, I TOTALLY LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Starting from the packaging,

As I have mentioned above, I love the triangle shaped tip of the product ( it acts similar to an angle brush, I noticed), making it easier for me to draw my brows. And the brow brush in one packaging is also a bonus point. It's a very efficient product in one packaging, I must say. Just like what I was searching for.

Moving on to the product itself,

First, I love the color. I have black/ dark brown hair and hairy brows so it's not easy for me to find a perfect color of eyebrow pencil. I tried a brown brow pencil from a local product ( I think it's "Viva") and the color is too reddish brown for my eyebrows so I dropped it off. Then came my NYX's Eyebrow Cake Powder in "Black/Gray", it worked well, but I had to mix both of the colors to get the sharp yet natural eyebrow's color ( using black itself gave me a harsh lined eyebrows). And then came this product. The color is just perfect for my eyebrows. Not too dark, yet it looked natural. So it really works for me.

The next good thing about this product is that it's easy to use. Despite the hard consistency of the pencil, it glides easily on my eyebrows and doesn't get clumpy or cakey, giving my brows a soft yet defined natural look.

At a closer look,

However this product is not "waterproof" as it claimed. But I don't really care since it doesn't smudge and it stays on perfectly during my outdoor hours ( around 6 hours or so) in a hot and humid weather of this capital city of Indonesia ( means sweats and etc).

My Review:

Basically, I'm a kind of girl who opt for a lip product with vivid color and good staying power. But the description of this tinted lip spa intrigued me quite much that I decided to give it a try.

Applied to the lips, the product glides on smoothly and easily, giving a cooling minty sensation to my lips ( quite refreshing to be worn on a hot sunny day). Granted, it moisturizes my lips but the moisture stays only for couple of hours. 3 hours to the max, I noted.

And the product is not very pigmented, but it is probably because I bought a nude color, I should try a bright color one to be able to give fair judgment about the pigmentation.

My major turn off about this product is that it leaves white flakes on my lips when it dries up. I hate when my lipstick does that on me, urgh.

In my conclusion, this product is wearable for short period and when you wanted a natural look ( as you can't rely on its staying power).

Getting to the point, I generally like the product. But still not enough to make me fall inlove with it.

It has a range of vibrant vivid colors selection. Very pigmented. It also has great staying power. As you can see from the picture, I rubbed it using tissue and then washed my hand twice using hand soap and it stays. The one on my lips stays on during eating and drinking for around 4 hours.

My major drawbacks about the product: it cause dryness and it requires professional tricks to get smooth lustrous result as seen on it's commercial. On my first attempt to applied it decently, I wear nothing under the lipstick and it went clumpy all over my lips. I put another layer to get it distributed evenly, but it just got thicker and looked unnatural. Plus it dries my lips so bad after I took it off from my lips. Then I tried to use some lip balm under the lipstick, brushed it evenly all over my lips using fine lip brush and it went better ( take a note, just better. Not perfect). But still, it got clumpy a little bit. It can be frustrating if you don't have much time to put make-up on or re-touching.

The first shade that I bought is Pink Pout. I thought it would looked like nude pale pink on my lips. Oh, it does look pale. So pale that I looked like a dead person. Adding the fact that the product creates no gloss or shine, it really looked dull on my lips. I really... really... hate the color. Pink About It looked better on me, though the shade is still too much vibrant to my like. I got an eye on Strawberry Suede shade, but I'm just afraid if I would hate the color just like the two I've owned.

Another tips, scrub and moisturize your lips well before using this product. The intense characteristic could magnify fine lines, dead skin cells, etc.

My Review:

I bought the product at a local supermarket without any intentional reason. Just because the price was quite cheap. To be honest, I didn't expect much from such a cheap product at first. But it surpasses all of my expectations and now is becoming one of my favorite beauty products.

The main reason why I love the product is because it is wearable at any situation, any occasion. I wear it sheer on daily basis, I wear it on top of my lipstick on special occasion, it doesn't take much time and effort to put when I'm feeling lazy to put my make up on. It glides like heaven on my lips, delivering enough moisture and sheer color pigments. It also has subtle sweet strawberry scent.

Though, the product wears off easily. It can stay on my lips up to 1-2 hours maximum if I'm not drinking or eating. So it needs to be constantly re-applied ( which is not a very big problem to me since it is so easy to be applied).

I highly doubt that this product is sold outside of Indonesia. Oh well.

My Review:

This has been one of my favorite products for quite a period of time.

It has everything that it promises. Beautiful glossy colors, great pigments, and decent staying power. The only turn-off is it's strong awful plastic scent.

At first application, the formula feels thick, sticky, tacky, and heavy on my lips. But soon as it dries, the gloss lightly covered my lips and doesn't feel as sticky or heavy as it first applied.

Beware of the scent though ( as a reminder, it also tastes awful). From another reviews that I read before purchasing the product, it was said that the product could cause nausea and minor headache to some people. I, personally, have experienced it several times but not as bad as people said. If you're allergic or strongly dislike intense or chemical-ish scent, than this product is not recommended.

Talking about the staying power, this product could stay up to around 3-4 hours on my lips. When I eat or drink, the gloss fades and creates pretty natural stain. So, eating or not, drinking or not, the gloss still look pretty on my lips. I have nothing to worry about.

So far, it doesn't dry up my lips and I'm not allergic to it.

My Review:

First of all, the scent is such a turn-off but it was bearable after around 10 minutes or so. But if you don't like strong scent, than this is not the right product to buy.

The cream gives cooling effect when applied to my face. It feels slippery and it doesn't create foams. When it said, "apply generously", you should really apply the cream generously. Because less wouldn't work ( I always clean my face twice with this product because once is not enough).

It doesn't give me the "squeaky clean" result, but more like "moisturizing clean". So I guess it would work well for those who have dry skin.

I'm not allergic to this product. And I don't know if this is another good effect from using this product, but my skin is getting better. The breakouts seem to dry and my skin is just generally calmed.

The review is not going to be long. This is the best cleansing cream I've tried so far. Much more better than my TSF Apple Vinegar Cleansing Gel Cream.

My Review:

Almost everyone in a forum that I joined have been talking about this product. I was curious and pretty excited about it, I mean... A great primer for such a price? So then I decided to give it a try.

I'd never thought a second to put this on my face if I haven't read all the reviews about how good and cheap this product is as a make-up primer. One thing that assure me more is because it was written in the tube 'The Skin Protectant". It shouldn't do my face any harm, isn't it?

I've been wearing this product everytime I went out of the house for around 2 weeks.

I love how it feels when applied on my face. It glides easily on my face, smoothing out my skin and eliminates shines, providing a good silky matte base to apply my make up on. One thing that I noticed when I washed my hands after applying this gel + foundation is that the foundation gets off easily and the layer of this product repels water from my hands. Same thing happens when I blotted my face, there is foundation on my blotting paper!! I guess this product works well as a barrier to prevent direct contact of foundation to my skin, but it also doesn't make my foundation attached ( if you get what I mean...). Good thing is, the make up stays on as long as I don't blot or wipe...

Using thing, my face is oil-free for around 8 hours ( so I don't see any need to blot anyways...). I use it on top of my face serum and bb cream and under my liquid foundation, yet it doesn't feel heavy or cakey.

Moving on to the cons, I'm getting breakouts from this product. Due to my experience about how this product repels water, I think I might need a good deep cleansing product to remove it from my face.

BRTC Blemish Recover Balm

My review:

So far, this is my favorite BB cream. It was previously known as Perfect Recover Balm but then it was discontinued and replaced with it's new version, Blemish Recover Balm ( I like the old version more because PR Balm is easier to blend and the consistency is lighter than BR Balm. I still have one tube of PR Balm, but I don't see any use of reviewing it because the product is no longer available on the market).

Moving on,

The cream is very thick and a bit difficult to blend. It has pinkish shade and therefore, I don't think it would work on dark to medium skin tone ( you would looked like wearing a ghost mask) even though it was said that the only shade can fits all skin tone.

The coverage is medium to full. It feels heavy on my face, but thanks God it's not cakey. The coverage is buildable too. So you can wear it thin-layered for daily activities and build up to full-layered for special occasions.

I never breaking out from using this product. About the healing properties, I rarely break out since I wear it on daily basis and if I do, the scars healed up faster.

I applied the cream on my most troubled area of the face ( I'm sorry for the bad pictures. I break out so bad after having a full heavy make-up for my inauguration ceremony two weeks ago and due to hormonal problems *psh*),

At a closer look,

Even though it has medium to full coverage, you would still need concealer to conceal extra dark-pigmented freckles or acne scars. And see how it lightens my uneven skin tone.

For fair judgment, another side of my face which is in better condition,

Looks better? =P

The point is, you won't need concealer if your skin is in good condition because the cream could do the job pretty well.

My review:

On application, the cream feels greasy and tastes awful. Once it already set, it provides enough moisture but it doesn't stay long. After 1 hour, my lips start to dry.

The first time I put this cream on, it makes my lips look fuller, moist, and soft pink colored. After around 30 mins- 1 hour, when I accidentally looked at the mirror, my lips turned to purple-ish fuchsia! ( which doesn't really fit in my skin tone...) and I can see fine lines on my lips ( means dry lips).

Good thing is, I'm not allergic to it.

I've used this cream for almost a month, and I see minimum improvement on my lips. It lightened my lips. A bit.

Not enough positives to make me happy.

And oh, I didn't even try it on my nipples. Because from what you can see, it was written in the box "Lip cream". And that's it. I'm not going to put it in my nipples.

Well, despite the fact that it was a cream blush-on, it's not difficult to apply, it's not difficult to blend. You don't need that professional make-up skill to wear it.

The key in applying this product is that you don't sweep, but you pat until it blends well with your skin. The vibrancy is in your hand. You can have it subtle looked, soft looked or eye-catching looked.

I only need a very small amount for each time's application. I just lightly dabbed it once with one finger for each cheeks. This product is very pigmented and so a little is enough ( unless you want to create a dramatic look).

So far that I know ( I've been wearing this product for almost 4 months), I'm not allergic to it. And I never breaking out from it.

And talking about the staying power, this product stays for almost the whole day on my cheeks indoor, and around 6-8 hours outdoor ( talking about hot, humid Jakarta's weather!)

** Tips: I always wear this product after my bb cream and before my loose powder to control the color and to make it last longer =)

My review:

The first thing that I noticed when I pumped a small amount out is the scent. The product has this nice sweet peachy scent. And the color is quite yellowish to my like. But when it got blended, the result is pretty nice and natural.

When it applied to my face, it was very easy to blend and quickly absorbed. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey on my face and it instantly brighten up my face, making it matte and smooth. It also feels very comfortable on my skin.

However, the product can't conceal my pimple scars and freckles ( you might need extra help from concealers).

Definitely my skin is not on it's top condition *sighs*

My review:

I love this product. The cute packaging surely adds an extra value.

You should apply the product quick enough to your entire lips before the color stained and stayed ( I once had stripped lips because of a bad application).

The cherry tint gives a cherry-ish cold sensation to my lips. Very comfortable.

The staying power is great for a lip tint. Once it stained, it's going to stay for quite a long time ( I applied the tint and tried to remove it with water but it stayed. I tried Revlon Make-Up Remover and it stayed still).

Another thing that I noticed is that this product dries your lips. I, sometimes, put lip balm before applying the tint to prevent it from drying out my lips. Therefore it doesn't recommended for those with sensitive, dry, or chapped lips.

In the middle picture, you can see that it started to dry my lips.

Final result! Pretty stained lips! ( though I don't recommend you to use a lot of layers because it would looks "bloody" scary under the sun light)

First, I really hate the packaging. The transparent plastic cover is fragile. I accidentally broke it when I opened it.

The good things about this product are: 1. It is unscented, 2. The powder shadows have enough pigments, 3. It comes with 2 functional mini brushes ( I really love the slanted brush! It makes the application easier).

I bought the product at the official NYX counter in MKG. The SA girl was quite an idiot. She didn't understand about the product at all. I asked her about the gray powder shadow ( since I don't want to have gray brows, and she said that I could use the gray as eyeshadow while the description on the web is quite clear, "Shades can also be blended for a natural match". Girl, please... Pay attention to stuffs you sell!).

The mini brushes are very easy to use. The round brush used to refine brows shape and the slanted brush used to apply the powder shadows.

I only need small amount of the powder shadow to fill in my brows.

Overall Rating:

I came across this product one day when I was looking for a 'decent' cleansing product. The description caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try.

Soon enough I knew that I'm going to dislike this product. Much.

When I first opened the jar, I loved the subtle apple scent. Very sweet, very refreshing. But that was the only good thing about this product.

When I tried it on my face, surely it glides well, but I don't feel the 'deep cleansing' thing. It kinds of felt greasy, even after I washed it with water ( cold water, warm water, none works).

Enough said, I never used it anymore.

I've been wanted to try Benefit Posietint since a friend of mine at a beauty forum mentioned about it ( plus after reading another positive reviews). So I gave it a try, buying a sample tube from a contact. Here's the review ( not a pleasant one, I must say....)

That was exactly what I did. Result,

I'm not quick enough when I blended the left cheek, so I was left with a subtle pink streak ( sorry for the bad picture quality, it was taken with my mobile phone)

The right cheek seemed to be okay. It gave me a very subtle rosy hue ( almost un-noticed argh!)

PS. I haven't tried it on my lips ( it used to be cheek and lip stain)
